Teva Toachi - Love these sandals. I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews about the drain holes, but had absolutely no problem. Didn't feel them at all. I have very flat feet and the arch is great - better than the Keens. The toe protection is good, although I wish it covered all my toes. Very comfortable footbed. Great right out of the box. Easily adjustable. These will now be my favorite sandals.

Wow! Very Nice! I'm not a big-time rugged hiker, but need something designed for rough treatment and water, with good traction, comfort, and VERY stable on my feet. Been wearing Earth shoes only - love 'em, but feel their "sport sandals" just LOOK like sport sandals in styling (boo!). Shifting to any Teva was a leap for me as their web-strapping styles have never been a fit - took a chance on these because other wearers mentioned great arch support. This Toachi is terrific! Super-adjustable and yes, great arch support. Wore them on steep Colorado mountain trails and Great Sand Dunes (sand AND water) right away with total comfort. The cushioned stretch material below the adjusting straps is excellent - no chafing anywhere. Do all the strap-adjusting you need, then just use the single click-clasp to get on and off - clever. The "bumper" toe is a nice feature, too (if you've ever stubbed a cactus...). PS - I quickly got accustomed to the drain-holes others have mentioned - can feel them slightly, but they aren't a big deal - and they work!

Comfortable shoes - I personally like the looks of Keen sandals better, but Keens do not have much arch support for my Plantar Fasciitis. These have great arch support and have a squishy sole like Keens. I usually wear a size 9 - 9 1/2 and the size 9 was a perfect fit.

Wide feet? No problem! I LOVE this sandal! I have wide feet and it seems that every shoe I buy needs breaking in and a level of discomfort. Not this shoe! It took me awhile to figure out how I want the straps. It is super adjustable! I like it pretty loose so my toe doesn't touch the toe protector. I went hiking/camping the day after I got it… no pain! They got wet and dried very quickly. I didn’t notice the holes on the bottom at all. I don't think this shoe is ugly. My mom instantly complimented the style AND color. Looks good with cargo shorts or some jeans. I am SUPER satisfied! Plus, super fast shipping.

Teva Toachi - They are taking a bit of breaking in for me. I do have very flat feet and the high arch is a bit much for my right foot. I think with a bit of time I will adjust. I just want to say that Zappos is one of the best stores of any kind on the web!

Zappos Toachi - I thought these were going to work out as the Teva line has changed so much and the 3 other pairs I ordered fit poorly. These have so called drainage ports, BUT when I am stepping down on them on the ball of my foot--I can feel the holes and it feels like a little rock inside my shoes. I kept taking the shoe off and inspecting it, then I felt it with my fingers and this is a design flaw with the shoes. I called Teva, but they really didn’t seem interested in the quality issue of this shoe. I’m disappointed to say the least.

More than sandals - This is the first pair of sport sandals or Teva’s that I have ever tried. I was reluctant to pay even $51 for the sea foam shoes, and had decided before they arrived that I would return them... until I tried them on. They're feather-light, well-cushioned, and supportive, and they just baby your feet. There is a pinch around the air holes at the very beginning, but this quickly fades as the shoe conforms to your foot (I wore mine twice around the house and they were fine after that). I am officially hooked, and I only wish they were cute enough to wear all of the time. Can't wait to try them in the water! P.S. Zappos is just the BEST, hands down.

Soo comfortable! I just received these yesterday and have been wearing them all morning today...it's lunch time and no problems whatsoever with these. They were comfortable right out of the box. The foot bed is so soft and cushy I don't want to take them off! I received many compliments already this morning while out on errands on the style and color. I have the sea foam green which I thought was the most feminine and would go nicely with everything and at half the price of the other colors an incredible bargain. I bought these primarily for walking, biking and sporty activities but I can see wearing them much more often! I wasn't sure about the look of the covered toe but to me they are kind of like a bulldog...so ugly they're cute! I did notice the drainage holes at first but they did not cause me any discomfort and I already don't notice them anymore. I can't wait to wear them for a class trip to the zoo tomorrow. I anticipate being very comfortable walking in them all day! I even ordered a pair in the same color for my 7 year old since she saw mine and wanted them. They will be great for her as she's very, very active and her little toesies will be protected.

Most comfortable sandal EVER! I absolutely love these sandals. I did however have to send back the first pair because they were a half size too big. I ordered the exact same size that I wear in Nike's and these ran a bit larger. So I returned the big pair and got the half size smaller with Zappos awesome free ship return. As soon as I put these sandals on I was in love. Need mind you; I did feel that pinching feeling everyone talks about. The reason I give a 5 star considering the pinching you ask??? I asked that same question after reading all the reviews about the pinching and yet the shoe still getting so many stars. Well, it goes away. I considered that the "breaking in" of the shoe. It took maybe 3 short walks down to the damn and then no more pinching. No other part of the shoe needed "breaking in" because they were soo comfortable right out of the box. Just like wearing my favorite pair of tennis shoes, but in a sandal. I have never been so pleased with a pair of sandals in my life. We moved out to our cabin this year (got sick of city life) and I needed a great pair of sandals for the river, lake and hiking. I loved the fact that these had the drain holes in the bottom for the water to flow through. That is the only reason I ordered these. Soo glad I did. They are great in the river. I didn't have any problems with the pebble rock getting stuck in the sandal. I lift my foot and the flow of the river washed the rock right out in no time. When exiting the water the sole is practically dry because all of the water escaped. None of that "squish, squish, squish" with these shoes. EVERYONE was asking me where I got these shoes as they were "squishing" along in their regular 'ol water shoes.

I'm completely satisfied! These are GREAT shoes! They fit perfectly true to size; have the best arch support I've worn in a long time, look good. The drain holes never bothered me at all (but maybe I have tough feet, I am barefoot a lot). I wasn't thrilled to spend so much money on a pair of sandals, but I think these will be with me a long time!

I got the light green ones - I would not choose this color normally, but they were twice as cheap as the other colors. Yea! I do like them now that I have them. I used them kayaking so they got wet. Yea! After they were wet the rubbed blisters when I walked around camp. Boo!

Teva Toachi review - I bought this shoe to water jog in the pool with, since I have Plantar Fac. The shoe has great traction with the Spyder rubber and very good arch support. I wish I could adjust it tighter, but it only has three adjustments. It stays on my foot well, and is very light weight. So I'm willing to forgo the adjustment for the weight.

Great shoe. I couldn't go anywhere without someone commenting on the shoe. It provided the feeling of an open toe sandal while protecting my toes. Water drains and evaporates quickly, so you’re not left squishing around for everyone to hear.

Ugly, but… I just received these from Zappos. I ordered them yesterday and I have no idea how they can get them to Montana that fast, but it is great. I think these are the ugliest shoes I have ever owned. That being said, I wanted a pair of shoes to wear for a beach vacation that would dry quickly, wear well in the water, and be comfortable. I agree with the other reviews that the drain holes do bite a bit, but I am hopeful that these will in the end be very comfortable. I just think that anything that ugly has to be comfortable, but we'll see. I bought a half-size larger based on reviews and they are a little big, especially in the toe area.

Love These Shoes! I love this shoe! They are the most comfortable shoe in my closet! The first few days wearing them I did notice a pinch from the drainage holes in the sole but that stopped pretty quickly. Love the adjustable heel strap! I've never worn Tevas before because the heel strap always felt a little short on my foot and seemed to push my feet forward. Not with these! The arch support is wonderful and the soles are very cushy! They are also easy to clean and dry very quickly. They are so comfy you won’t mind wearing them wet! Buy them, you'll love 'em!!! (Get 1/2 size larger than you usually wear.)

Ouch - I really like these shoes, and they were really comfortable when I first put them on. However, within a couple of minutes I felt pinching on the bottom of my foot at each step. When I took off the shoes, there was an imprint/welt on my foot from the "water holes." I noticed that other reviewers had the same issue, but gave it a few days. For me, it was too uncomfortable to chance that I would get "used to it," so the shoes went back.

Nice Sandals - These sandals are very comfortable. I have noticed in the past that Tevas run a bit smaller in size than other shoes I have purchased. I am normally a size 10, but I ordered these in a half a size bigger and they fit fine.

Awesome outdoors! Purchased a pair of Teva Toachi a week before going to Hawaii and wore them constantly to break them in, which turned out to be totally unnecessary! I'm always in search of comfortable shoes for my bad feet and was glad these were comfy from the start. They are funky, go-anywhere sandals. Hiked Diamond Head, hiked up slippery rainforest slopes, swam in the rocky-bottom ocean and wore them around town. Love them almost as much as Zappos shipping and customer service!

So Comfortable! These shoes are very comfortable, and I think they are a cute fashion statement too! I am a college student, and it is difficult to find a more comfortable sandal for trekking around campus all day- and one that is so cute too.

Great shoes - These are really great beach shoes. My only complaint is that tiny shells get stuck in the channels to wick away the water. Those shells are difficult to remove. Otherwise the shoes look fantastic and are fairly comfortable.

I loved the fact that these had the drain holes in the bottom for the water to flow through. That is the only reason I ordered these. Soo glad I did. They are great in the river. I didn't have any problems with the pebble rock getting stuck in the sandal. I lift my foot and the flow of the river washed the rock right out in no time. When exiting the water the sole is practically dry because all of the water escaped. None of that "squish, squish, squish" with these shoes. EVERYONE was asking me where I got these shoes as they were "squishing" along in their regular 'ol water shoes.

I'm completely satisfied! These are GREAT shoes! They fit perfectly true to size; have the best arch support I've worn in a long time, look good. The drain holes never bothered me at all (but maybe I have tough feet, I am barefoot a lot). I wasn't thrilled to spend so much money on a pair of sandals, but I think these will be with me a long time!

I got the light green ones - I would not choose this color normally, but they were twice as cheap as the other colors. Yea! I do like them now that I have them. I used them kayaking so they got wet. Yea! After they were wet the rubbed blisters when I walked around camp. Boo!

Teva Toachi review - I bought this shoe to water jog in the pool with, since I have Plantar Fac. The shoe has great traction with the Spyder rubber and very good arch support. I wish I could adjust it tighter, but it only has three adjustments. It stays on my foot well, and is very light weight. So I'm willing to forgo the adjustment for the weight.

Great shoe. I couldn't go anywhere without someone commenting on the shoe. It provided the feeling of an open toe sandal while protecting my toes. Water drains and evaporates quickly, so you’re not left squishing around for everyone to hear.

Ugly, but… I just received these from Zappos. I ordered them yesterday and I have no idea how they can get them to Montana that fast, but it is great. I think these are the ugliest shoes I have ever owned. That being said, I wanted a pair of shoes to wear for a beach vacation that would dry quickly, wear well in the water, and be comfortable. I agree with the other reviews that the drain holes do bite a bit, but I am hopeful that these will in the end be very comfortable. I just think that anything that ugly has to be comfortable, but we'll see. I bought a half-size larger based on reviews and they are a little big, especially in the toe area.

Love These Shoes! I love this shoe! They are the most comfortable shoe in my closet! The first few days wearing them I did notice a pinch from the drainage holes in the sole but that stopped pretty quickly. Love the adjustable heel strap! I've never worn Tevas before because the heel strap always felt a little short on my foot and seemed to push my feet forward. Not with these! The arch support is wonderful and the soles are very cushy! They are also easy to clean and dry very quickly. They are so comfy you won’t mind wearing them wet! Buy them, you'll love 'em!!! (Get 1/2 size larger than you usually wear.)

Ouch - I really like these shoes, and they were really comfortable when I first put them on. However, within a couple of minutes I felt pinching on the bottom of my foot at each step. When I took off the shoes, there was an imprint/welt on my foot from the "water holes." I noticed that other reviewers had the same issue, but gave it a few days. For me, it was too uncomfortable to chance that I would get "used to it," so the shoes went back.

Nice Sandals - These sandals are very comfortable. I have noticed in the past that Tevas run a bit smaller in size than other shoes I have purchased. I am normally a size 10, but I ordered these in a half a size bigger and they fit fine.

Awesome outdoors! Purchased a pair of Teva Toachi a week before going to Hawaii and wore them constantly to break them in, which turned out to be totally unnecessary! I'm always in search of comfortable shoes for my bad feet and was glad these were comfy from the start. They are funky, go-anywhere sandals. Hiked Diamond Head, hiked up slippery rainforest slopes, swam in the rocky-bottom ocean and wore them around town. Love them almost as much as Zappos shipping and customer service!

So Comfortable! These shoes are very comfortable, and I think they are a cute fashion statement too! I am a college student, and it is difficult to find a more comfortable sandal for trekking around campus all day- and one that is so cute too.

Great shoes - These are really great beach shoes. My only complaint is that tiny shells get stuck in the channels to wick away the water. Those shells are difficult to remove. Otherwise the shoes look fantastic and are fairly comfortable.
