I love this skirt for dressing up or down. It's very comfortable, washes nicely and dries quickly. I have it in black and I've been able to wear it to church and work and also to picnics and just around the house. The shorts underneath make it very comfortable and practical. The only drawback is that its construction is pretty much straight up and down. I usually wear an 8 or a 10, but had to size up to a 12 to accommodate my "curves", so it's a touch longer than I'd ideally like. But that's no deal breaker -- I love it.

Cute but disappointing - I love the look and feel of this skirt. It is functional but not super casual, so it looks a little dressier than it is. Unfortunately, the shorts underneath don't stay put. They ride/bunch up as you walk. It could just be my body shape or something, but it was very disappointing. I took it on a walking/hiking trip to Italy and thought it would be perfect for the day walks and dressy enough for nights out, plus it dries super fast. I made it work, but it wasn't super comfortable.

Patagonia skirt - I am happy with this skirt. The inner shorts contribute to its comfort. It is also true to size. It is a product I would buy again.

It's A Keeper! Great fabric, nicely designed, good fit, comfortable, looks good on, I'm keeping it and perhaps I'll even order another in different color. Also, travels well--still looks good after being stuffed into a duffel for a week or so.

I'd wear it every day if I could - I bought this skirt on a whim and it turned out to be any excellent choice. Slimming and comfortable, you can dress it up or down. I hardly ever wear skirts, but I love this one.

Great for traveling! This skort ended up as one of my favorite pieces during a summer trip. It was easy to wash & dried quickly in hotel rooms. The fit is comfortable, and it looks nice enough that I could go into a decent restaurant without feeling like a grungy, under-dressed tourist. I unzipped the zippers on the side to allow my legs greater movement while climbing up steep hills or rocks. Fit: I am usually a size 6 or 8 (depending on the retailer) on the bottom. The size 6 fits loosely but comfortably. The size 4 looks like it fits just right, but it is too tight to sit comfortably. The fabric does not stretch.

Classic And Sporty - The Duway skirt, just like most clothes from Patagonia, has managed to be both refined and sporty at the same time. I found that I can use this skirt for just loafing around in flip-flops or going out to dinner in feminine strappy sandals. Also good for traveling as it does not wrinkle and dries up right away. The shorts took some time getting used to at first, but if you're used to wearing a skort, then it's very comfortable. Also can be paired with a feminine blouse or tailored shirt, polo shirt, tank top, etc. Very happy, got it in two colors!

Skort-Patagonia - Order one size up, I usually wear a size 4, but returned it for a size 6, it fit okay a little long but still fine, I would order it again in another color.

Cute and comfy, but shorts ride up - Yes, I will attribute the shorts riding up to my less than perfect thighs. I can't say it's a fault of the skort. On the plus side, even as the shorts ride up, the skirt stays smooth (mostly) in place. Would recommend.

Great skirt - Flattering fit. Versatile for work and play. Agree with earlier review about sizing---size down. I usually wear a size 6 but wore a size 2 in this skirt.

Great versatile skirt! I wore this skirt to a rainy Jazz Fest on Friday and it was perfect. Cool cute fast drying, with a secret pocket for loose change. Size was true to fit. Not too short. Not just for camping. I especially love the fabric -- cool & lightweight. I want to see if they come in different colors. May get another one!

Great skort for curvy figures! As a curvy gal, I wasn't sure if this skirt would work for me (it looks pencil-thin in the pics). But with free 2-way shipping, I had nothing to lose by trying it (thanks Zappos!). I'm glad I tried it... it fit my curves quite nicely! It seemed pretty true to size (with a size 6 waist and size 12 hips, I ordered a 10 and it fit perfect, hanging low like hip-huggers). Pretty sexy, my hubby says! I only wish my size was available in other colors...

The color isn't a true dark black and it does pick up a little lint, but it's extremely comfortable and has a cute, flattering look. I think it's more slimming/less bulky than the wrap around style skorts and for me, it was true to size. It's perfect for travel when you need the dressier/conservative appearance of a skirt, but also the mobility and comfort of shorts. I wore it to work on a casual Friday and it transitioned wonderfully to a night out afterwards. You can dress it up with sandals or dress it down with sneakers. Unzipping the sides gives more mobility for biking, walking, and golf, but I wouldn't play tennis in it since it's a little long/too dressy. I think it's adorable with the Mary Jane style Skechers and plan to order some more colors.

Don’t order small - I ordered this skirt smaller than my usual size, because the other review said it runs big. I wear an 8 and I ordered a 6. It was very difficult to zip it up and I will have to return it for my size. It is very cute and flattering on. It seemed a little staticy though.

Runs large - This skirt runs large, so beware when ordering. Sizing follows that of brands such as Banana Republic and "Lauren" Ralph Lauren, where I wear a size 0 skirt...and believe me, I am by no means "tiny." I ordered a 4 in this, but really need a 0. As far as the under shorts go, they are true shorts and not briefs. You will need to wear underwear with these as the shorts will not substitute for them. Regarding appearance, this skirt has a somewhat sleek fit and does not flair out too much, as many skirts tend to do. I only wish it was a bit shorter. The look is not a sexy one. Perfect for golf.
